The Scrapeless platform, technology and network (together, the "Services") may be used only for lawful and legitimate purposes, and are subject to the Scrapeless Terms & Conditions. This Acceptable Use Policy (this "AUP") forms part of those Terms & Conditions.

Scrapeless has taken, and will continue to take, decisive action against any unlawful or non-compliant use of the Services, and will assist law enforcement authorities in investigating potential abuse of the Services.

Using the Scrapeless Services for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity is strictly prohibited. Any suspected use of this kind will be investigated.

Forbidden Activities

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collecting non-public information, meaning data located behind a login, a registration wall or a paywall.
  • DDoS attacks of any kind, or any other activity that compromises the security of third-party systems.
  • Spam: bulk distribution of emails, message board, IRC or comment postings, and images.
  • Ad fraud or click fraud.
  • Impersonation or spoofing for fraudulent purposes.
  • Creating fake accounts or fake content.
  • Use of automated ticket purchasing programs (ticket bots).
  • Sweepstakes, lotteries or gambling.
  • Fake engagement, including likes, comments and shares.
  • Farming or trading of in-game items or virtual currency.
  • Reselling proxies or the Services without the prior written consent of Scrapeless.
  • Use of streaming-related domains, including video, music or image streaming.
  • Trading in cryptocurrencies, virtual currencies or NFTs.
  • Search engine optimisation (SEO) manipulation of any kind, such as generating artificial clicks in search results.
  • Improper posting on classified, second-hand and resale websites, such as Craigslist.
  • Completing surveys for the purpose of obtaining a benefit or anything of value.
  • Circumventing the authentication or security measures of any host, network or account.
  • Accessing, collecting or processing sensitive or special categories of data, including health data and children's data.
  • Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations, or the rights of any third party.

Content Blocking

Scrapeless proactively blocks certain web content at its sole discretion, including adult content, government websites and harmful domains. Scrapeless reserves the right to add or remove any web content block at any time, at its sole discretion.

Limitation of Use

In order to prevent damage or service disruption to any third-party computer or service, Scrapeless may impose limitations on the use of the Services at its sole discretion. Scrapeless shall have no liability to the Customer in respect of any limitation imposed under this policy.
